Everyday make up!

For an everyday make up routine I will start by applying MAC Pro Longwear foundation in the colour NC25 with the Real Techniques buffing brush all over my face. I will then cover up my under eyes and any blemishes with the MAC Studio Finish Concealer in the shade NC30. To set all this I will use my trusty (and very affordable) Natural Collection Powder in the colour 'cool'. I then contour my face with the Revolution Ultra Bronze and Real Techniques Contour Brush and then use a bigger powder brush to brush the bronzer all over the rest of my face. To finish off my face I put some Natural Collection Blush in the colour 'Peach Melba' to the apples of my cheeks.
For my eyebrows, I use the Real Techniques Brow Brush and the MUA Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit. I begin with dipping my brush into the gel and placing that over my brows to act as a base for the eye shadow. I then use the lightest brown colour in the palette to fill in any sparse areas and create the desired shape that I want. I have quite naturally thick eyebrows so this step doesn't take too long for me.
Moving on to eyes, I go rather simple and easy and I apply a tiny bit of the bronzer I used earlier into the crease of my eyes with the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush. I then use the Top Shop Kohl Eyeliner pencil and put it above my upper lash line to make it look thicker and underneath two thirds of my lower lash line to add some definition. After, I use Real Techniques Accent Brush to smoke this out along my lash lines. I then curl my lashes and apply one coat of Miss Sporty 24h Pump Up Booster Waterproof Mascara. Once this has nearly dried I go over the top with my MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara to add so much length.
Lastly for lips, I use my MAC Matte lipstick in the shade 'Honey Love'.

This make up look is so simple to do and takes hardly any time at all.
Hope you enjoyed,
Ella xx

1 skirt 3 ways

It's that time of the year again where people have spent all their money on Christmas presents for family and friends (or for themselves in the sales). Here I am going to show 3 different ways you can style a black skirt. The one I used was from Topshop. I hope you enjoy and find it mildly useful!

Outfit 1. Street chic

So in this first outfit I have paired the black skirt with a white H&M 'The New Icons' t-shirt. The shoes I have added are some black chunky caged sandals. I then added a black chunky necklace with gold detailing for an extra edgy look from Primark. Pair this with big sunnies and big black handbag for a glam celeb inspired street style look, or keep it cool and edgy with a black satchel.

Outfit 2. Keeping it simple and pretty

For this outfit I tried to keep it simple and elegant by pairing the skirt with a strappy white top with beautiful pearl detailing around the top from New Look. The key feature to this outfit however is the Primark coral peep toe shoes. I love these shoes so much as they automatically make an outfit look more sophisticated. The necklace I added was one from Matalan which brings together the top nicely as its the same white colour with gold hardware.

Outfit 3. Rock chick

This outfit by far is my favourite as I am a sucker for all in black, rock outfits. So for this, I teamed the skirt with a black bralet from New Look which has beautiful detailing of gold studs around the top and a gold zip all the way down the front which I think adds quite a sexy feel. The black Chelsea boots are also from New Look and they really add to the edgy, rock theme. I layered up a black and gold chocker with a gold necklace and of course no rock chick outfit is complete with out a black leather jacket.

So there are my 3 different ways to style a black skirt. I really hope you enjoyed this post.
